I have been a RM reader for more than I have been a RM reader for two years. I
was delighted that you have a new
technical expert Joshua Hayes on board.
I am a technically minded trader and
after the loss of the chartman have
always longed for somebody to help me
read the charts . His chart reading
skills are sure going to help me become
a good trader and reinforces my desire
to continue my RM subscription. Keep up
the good work and lets have more
articles from Mr. Hayes on a daily basis.

Josh-
I just wanted to tell you that I dig your posts. I’ve only read a couple of them (by chance…if I happened to be looking at a stock’s board on which you posted), but I plan on reading the back-log that Google keeps on posters’ profiles.
Anyway, I kind of think we’re like-minded people. I certainly know what it’s like to be treated like the bad guy or the jerk because I’ve posted bearish statements about a particular stock on that stock’s board. I don’t know why, but these boards seem to be dominated by bulls/longs for any particular stock, and they seem to take it so personally when you think the stock is going down.
Regardless, I like the way you post. You just put it out there and are not concerned with hurting feelings. I look forward to hearing more from you.

Hi Josh!
I have been watching and reading your website for a while now, since around jan-feb…i have read so many stock sites and have digested loads of data…never mind seminars from co’s like eSignal, MetaStock, Blocks etc…I haven’t used any of them…too confusing and overly complicated…Telechart looks good and I do like Blocks Market Mover screen..besides that I just use IBD and do screens what I do and have used for quite a while now is the CANSLIM method from William O’Neil and I subscribe to Market Volume…I am not a professional trader, but I have had a total gain in my portfolio of 29.7% since mid August using this method…some stock are up around 50%
BUT

Hi,
I found your investment style different than mine yet I also own AFSI.
CANSLIM method, that you follow, seems like momentum growth stock
style investing.
Best regards,
Vladimir

Dave, I havent posted to the list, but I have been lurking for a while. check out http://investorsparadise.com/mauitrader/
Joshua Hayes is a long-time IBD/CANSLIM investor and has been very successful with it. I’ve been following him and his picks since April of last year and he has spotted *all* the big winners. Many times I would research a stock that I saw breaking out and go back in his logs and find that he’d literally bought it months before. He got me into some winners like AOB, TMO, AB, AP, IFO, MIKR, just to name a few from last year. Of course, there are some that don’t pan out, but he tells you when he’s buying AND selling. The hardest part is deciding which ones to take, since he buys a lot of stocks, but he will tell you if they are pure speculative, canslim speculative, or strong canslim.
Maybe even more valuable is his market commentary. You can see the weekly wrap at his blog http://mauitrader.blogspot.com/ Listening to him has kept me from panicking many times.

Joshua, I am quite impressed by how well you have done with stocks so far. I am a fairly new investor (since around November 2006) and would love to have the opportunity to learn from you and see how you make such excellent picks. Do you share this information? If so, please let me know how I can be informed and learn. I look forward to hearing from you and perhaps sharing some ideas. Thanks!
