Hey Joshua,

I just found your site as a friend recommended you and I heard an interview on Trader-Interviews. Been reading some past articles and like what you have to say. I haven’t really considered trading such a long time horizon before, but you’re changing my mind.

I see you mention this Sandy Wright a lot. At first, it sounded like she was someone in a forum that I didn’t know about but now it sounds like she’s sending your personal e-mail. I don’t know what e-mail system you’re using but GMail and most other big sites allow you to add filters that can act to block specific people. In GMail, for example, go "Settings > Filters > Create a new filter" and put in her name or e-mail address, and you can have it be automatically deleted. POP/IMAP clients can do similar things, I’m sure if you investigate you can find something.

I don’t know anything about her, but if I’m feeling the stress, you must be getting it full on. Enjoy the waves and send e-mails from nutso haters like this into the bin without ever reading them.

Josh

Just wanted to give you a long overdue hello and thank you.

Several years ago I started trading stocks because I had some cash burning a hole in my pocket. One of my first picks was VLO when it was about a $12 stock. Needeless to say I was hooked. I had no real style of trading, just did some basic reading and research then crossed my fingers. I never did great but did make some nice gains in the energy sector. Anyways somehow I managed to stuble on to your site about 3-4 years ago. I didn’t follow any of your trades right off the bat but did enjoy reading your blog. After several months, almost a years I realized you weren’t some "pump and dump" guy (it took so long because I played with penny stocks and got burned) so finally I started trading your picks. I made several thousand dollars because of your picks, "Thank You".

I still enjoy reading your market comments daily but I longer trade otherwise I would without a doubt subscibe to your service. A couple of years ago I sold all my stocks to finance an engagement ring and a wedding, with no regrets.

I’ve been following CANSLIM for a long time and have been through most of your site. You employ it well. Keep up the good work. Hope you feel better as well (and there are much better hospitals in Texas if you’re worried about moving there) Later, Brian

Josh,

You don’t know me but I have read a few of your posts and you sound pretty knowledgeable, plus acitons speak louder than words and your returns on the stocks you have listed are impressive. I’m trying to get into the game on a more serious level. I started in penny stocks using recommendations from my father in law and made a quick 600% or so. I have given about half of it back since then I hate the way the game is played with these tiny companies. I have started watching large caps and reading a little more. I’m curious as to what your history/education as an investor is can I am wondering if you can point me in the direction of some good learning materials. I’m 23 years old in school still cause I just got out of the military so my time for reading is limited and I want to make it count. Also, would you mind someone asking you questions from time to time? I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks.

Regards,
Drew

As I mentioned,
Only two losers at present, and those are very small losses.
As for Big Past Winners, I’ll look at ADBL again for closely!
big thanks, as always

My name is John Wang, I am a paid subscriber to RealMoney.com

I am writing to thank you for bringing in Joshua Hayes as a new guest commentator to RealMoney.com. I am an avid CANSLIM investment paradigm follower. For quite a while now, I have been feeling RealMoney.com is lack of a top notch commentator for CANSLIM investors, until I read the series articles posted by Joshua Hayes recently. I must say his market comments are dead on and his stock picks are awesome. Joshua Hayes is a great asset to all CANSLIM lovers.

I am looking forward to read his future RM articles, the more the better.

Thanks
John Wang
