Stocks Continue To Selloff On Higher Volume; VRUS Bucks The Trend

January 16, 2008

I am severely depressed and am not going to post commentary tonight. If any of you believe in God please say a prayer for me. I am losing my freaking mind and need a lot of help right now. I am not sure why but I am in a sever state of depression right now. It has been at least ten year since I have felt like this. I feel so overwhelmed that I can not even talk about the market. I sincerely apologize. Just pray form me, if you believe. If you don’t believe….I can’t say I blame you.

Dude hang in there… the market has everyone down. Your 2 articles on RM are brilliant… keep up the good work.

I am more depressed at the fact that they decided to run it late!!!! So we took out the VRUS chart and took out this part:

“Let’s take a look at HCSG, SDTH, RHB, VRUS, SRCL, TISI, and KGC. These are all high quality longs that all trade over $10 a share and most of them have fantastic EPS and sales/revenue growth. The only exception is VRUS which has a beautiful chart. The chart that I am always looking for in bull markets (this is a bull market for VRUS).”

This has me sick!!!! as VRUS went up 17% today. I bet the RM readers would have appreciated that. However, they will never know it existed. Only me and two people at RM saw this before VRUS exploded to the upside.”

That right there depresses me more than the market. I already know and understand the market is NUTS but the fact that I am consistently correct yet my work CONTINUES TO BE EDITED really pisses me off and depresses me to the core.

I’ll hang in there but I feel fucking horrible!

To be honest, I don’t even want to write another article before the week is out. I am that depressed. I have NEVER felt as bad as this. My personal life (minus my wonderful gf) is in shambles, I am now loaded with medical bills debt, my trading sucks, and RM is NEVER happy with my work and it has cost RM readers thousands of thousands of dollars.

I’ve been there. Just one more little thing and the dragon rears its head. I smash stuff- not the sort of thing that inspires confidence from your wife and it can get expensive. Find your way- it’s there waiting to be found. Standing in the way of our own light.

Screw RM! Your friends are right here. Remember Dorothy - There’s No Place Like Home.

You are smart, living in Maui with a wonderful girlfriend, and can surf.

Moreover, Real Money sucks…I ended my subscription last week (before I learned you started contributing, may reconsider)…don’t let those hacks get you down one second. They should be flattered you write for them.

Maybe plan for a vacation to China before the Olympics, when everything is well prepared but the crowds are not present? Something different?

It is only a matter of time before your gifts are fully recognized. Cheers!

Hang in there bro. Your RM articles were brilliant. I liked the second one just as much. We know you are gifted at stock picking and are a workoholic. You strive for perfection and that brings with it the headaches. We missed you in the chat tonite. dont overwork yourself. Get some rest and i am sure you will bounce back soon. We are like a big family here and our appreciation counts more than the stupid RM editors anyday.

just use realmoney as a stepping stone, as its got to start somewhere and RM will get you the eyeballs reading about you and there are plenty of people in the business that read RM just to stay in the loop. i am sure there are plenty of traders that wish they could write for RM.

Joshua, hang in there man. This market is shitty and it’s got everyone baffled. You are at least getting parts of it right, even if the censors at RM are screwing you over.

Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day. First, you didn’t think they’d ever talk to you, but with persistence they did. Then it didn’t seem like they’d ever get around to hiring you, but they did. Then it didn’t look like they’d ever actually run one of your articles because they couldn’t get their stuff together, but it happened.

Now it doesn’t seem like they’ll let you do what you want when you want, but they will. As your audience grows, they will give you more license. I know it.

As for all the other personal stuff, I feel ya. Go step back for a day or two. Maybe catch some waves. Or have you ever heard the idea of being a tourist in your own town? I’m sure there’s some great vista on Maui you’ve never seen, a waterfall you’ve always meant to hike to, etc. Go some place different to reflect and gain perspective.

It’s a cliche, but it always seems darkest before the dawn.

Josh, I enjoyed reading both of your articles in RM. I printed out both for records, so you know how much I like them. With time, you will get wide recognition.

One day, RM folks will chase behind your butt for daily articles and they will leave every bit of your articles untouched. The day will come sooner than you thought.

Josh
Chin up mate. Sorry haven’t been around but been dealing with an issue too.

But that aside, I am not a religious guy by any means, but I hope you can take some solace in the fact that you are doing much, much good. Not many people are able to “teach a man to fish”. You are doing that for me and I am sure others. You are and will change peoples lives for the better. I thank you and I am sending out good shakra into the universe for you as we speak!!!! Be ready….here it comes.

I send you an e-mail to explain were I’ve been. May have to bail from the site for a bit. Hope not though.
